It’s extremely important to confirm both you & GCR are compatible, have a meeting of the minds, & similar attitudes so that the financial advice, via the financial planning process, achieves your stated goals.
Before GCR considers making any recommendation, we take time to understand your needs, goals & preferences.
Here is what you can expect from our financial planning & advice process.
SPECIFYING THE SCOPE OF ENGAGEMENT & ADVICE
GCR will explain the process we follow, find out your needs and ensure we are able to meet them. We will provide you with a Financial Services Guide (FSG) explaining our qualifications, experience, background and how we charge for our services.
Along with your Statement of Advice (SOA), you will be provided an individualised Engagement Client Agreement (ECA) specifying terms & condition of engagement.
IDENTIFYING YOUR GOALS & OBJECTIVES
GCR will identify your short, medium- & long-term financial goals. This is the foundation for developing your financial plan & ECA.
ANALYISING YOUR FINANCIAL SITUATION
We will analyse your current financial position – your assets, liabilities, insurance coverages & investment or taxation strategies.
PREPARING YOUR FINANCIAL PLAN
We will provide recommendations, suitable strategies and services, as well as answer any questions you have.
Our Recommendations are always in your best interest. If we cannot assist you in a particular area or realistically provide the services you require, we will tell you & recommend you seek advice or services elsewhere.
IMPLEMENTING THE RECOMMENDATIONS
Once you’re ready to proceed, your financial plan will be put into action. Where appropriate, GCR will work with other professionals, such as accountants, auditors or solicitors.
REVIEWING THE PLAN
Your circumstances, lifestyle & financial goals are very likely to change over time, so it’s important that your financial plan is regularly reviewed every 6-12 months. GCR will provide you with an offer to review as per your individualised ECA.
